When I look back on our wedding day, two memories are going to stand out: the walk down the aisle, and the absolutely incredible dance party we had! We only had 90 minutes because our schedule ran late and up against local noise ordinances, but Matty made the 90 minutes we had count: I've honestly never seen a dance floor take shape so quickly and stay 100% packed the entire time. Everyone kept telling us during and afterward how great the DJ was. But even in the days and hours leading up to the dance party, Matty was fantastic: music and sound was seamless during our ceremony, and he helped to coordinate all our toasts and worked with me to keep us on schedule when we were running behind. He was professional, kind, and genuinely invested in making the event fun and memorable — it didn't feel so much like we had hired a DJ as it felt like we had a friend working our wedding for us. Thank you so much, Matty, for being part of the reason our wedding felt so warm, personal, and full of love!

Simply put, Matt nailed it! Working with him was such a positive experience and he made our day unforgettable. Matt was professional, kind, and made us feel at ease during wedding planning when many other pieces felt stressful. We shared a playlist or two as well as some of our favorite artists and we found ourselves saying over and over again, how did he know to play THIS? Matt kept the party going all night and so many of our guests took the time to tell us what a wonderful job he did. All in all, we couldn’t have been happier. We wish we could do it all over again!

We cannot recommend Matty P highly enough. My wife and I really wanted a DJ who genuinely cared about putting together a great set, and was passionate about his craft, and Matt did not disappoint! He was professional, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed for all aspects of the night (ceremony, cocktail hour and reception). Matt read the room perfectly—and had us partying to the end of the night. We had a mix of older relatives, friends in their 20s/30s, and everyone felt included. That’s not easy, but they pulled it off. If music matters to your wedding, book this DJ.

We hired Mathew to DJ our wedding, reception, and cocktail hour for a mostly 50+ crowd. We requested jazz during cocktails which he nailed and requested tunes looking back into time rather than leaning into music of today. He really helped make the party a blast, as our guests of all ages were dancing and knew the music. We had so much fun, loved Mathew’s attention to detail, and appreciated his ability to mic our event when needed for toasts, the ceremony, etc. As the evening pressed on, he was tuned into the crowd’s energy and matched the music to the mood. I could not imagine a better DJ experience. Thank you!!

Matthew did a great job DJing our wedding. We are not big music people and he did a great job understanding what we like and filling in the rest based on vibes. Matty was amazing! From the first meeting to the final dance we were so happy with his professionalism and flexibility. We knew we wanted a DJ who could spin vinyl and we are so happy we found Matty. He took our wants and needs to heart and the music for our reception was perfect! We wanted to create a comfortable atmosphere for our guests and Matty helped make that happen seamlessly.
